ExFlo Pumps Inc. (“ExFlo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through exflopumps.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it.
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). If you are visiting from the United States, see the section “United States visitors” below.

ExFlo is a Canadian distributor of industrial and submersible dewatering pumps, parts, and related services. ExFlo operates as part of the IntraxGlobal group of companies.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you complete a form on the Site — a contact request, a quote or product enquiry, a service request, or the Parts Guarantee Register — we collect the information you enter, which may include:
Your name and job title
Company name
Business email address, telephone number, and mobile number where you provide one
Site or project location
Equipment details you provide (pump make and model, serial number, quantity, duty conditions, application notes)
Any other information you choose to include in a message or notes field
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect technical information, including:
IP address and approximate geographic region
Browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages viewed, time on page, and the link or search that referred you
Date and time of your visit
We use this information to understand how the Site is used and to improve it. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from this data alone, though where you have also submitted a form, our marketing platform may associate your browsing activity on our Site with your contact record.
Information we do not collect. We do not collect payment card numbers, banking information, government identification numbers, or sensitive personal information through the Site.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:
Necessary cookies, which are required for the Site to load and function correctly.
Analytics and marketing cookies, which help us measure Site traffic, understand which pages and content are useful, and connect a form submission to the visit it came from.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working properly.
We do not sell information collected through cookies.
4. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
Respond to your enquiry, quote request, or service request
Prepare and provide quotations, pricing, and technical recommendations
Supply pumps, parts, and services, and administer orders and warranty or guarantee claims
Maintain the Parts Guarantee Register and identify the correct parts for equipment you have registered
Contact you by email, telephone, or text message (SMS) about your enquiry, quotation, account, orders, equipment, service calls, or a guarantee or warranty claim
Send commercial messages by email or text message about products, services, technical content, and events, where you have consented to receive them
Understand how the Site is used and improve our content and offering
Meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Consent
We collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent, except where the law permits or requires otherwise. By submitting a form on the Site, you consent to our use of the information for the purposes described in this policy.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may mean we are unable to continue supplying certain services — for example, we cannot maintain your entry in the Parts Guarantee Register or process a guarantee claim without your equipment and contact details. To withdraw consent, contact us using the details in Section 12.
6. Who we share your information with
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
Service providers. We use third-party providers to host the Site, host and analyse Site traffic, and manage customer relationships and email. These providers process personal information on our behalf, under contract, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Suppliers and manufacturers. Where necessary to prepare a quotation, source a part, arrange a repair, or process a warranty or guarantee claim, we share relevant details — which may include your name, company, contact details, site location, and equipment information — with the manufacturer or supplier concerned, including companies within the IntraxGlobal group.
Carriers and logistics providers, to deliver equipment or parts to you.
Professional advisors (accounting, legal, insurance) where required.
Legal requirements. We may disclose personal information where required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a government or regulatory authority, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Business transactions. If ExFlo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be disclosed to the parties involved, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
7. Where your information is stored
ExFlo is based in Canada. Some of our service providers store or process personal information on servers located in the United States or other countries. Where information is stored or processed outside Canada, it may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities of that country under the laws in force there.
We use contractual and other means to require our service providers to protect personal information at a level comparable to what is required under Canadian law. If you would like more information about our cross-border handling of personal information, contact us using the details in Section 12.
8. Email and text messages
Commercial messages
If you have consented to receive commercial messages from us, or if we have an existing business relationship with you as permitted under CASL, we may send you information about our products, services, technical content, and events by email or by text message (SMS).
Every commercial message we send identifies ExFlo and includes our contact information. Emails include an unsubscribe link. Text messages include instructions to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. We action opt-out requests promptly and at no cost to you.
We use the mobile number you give us for text messages only where you have provided it for that purpose. We do not sell or rent mobile numbers, and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing.
Service and transactional messages
We may contact you by email, telephone, or text message about matters relating to your enquiry, quotation, order, delivery, account, equipment, service call, or a guarantee or warranty claim. These are not commercial messages, and you will continue to receive them if you opt out of marketing. If you do not want to be contacted by text for these purposes, tell us and we will use email or telephone instead.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. We are not responsible for charges levied by your carrier.
Text Message Service privacy
We only use the information you provide through our text message service to transmit your mobile messages and to respond to you. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of mobile messages.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We nonetheless reserve the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property.

9. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.
Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction: retained for a reasonable period to follow up, then deleted or de-identified.
Customer and order records: retained for the duration of the relationship and for the period required by Canadian tax and business record-keeping requirements after it ends.
Parts Guarantee Register entries: retained while the registered equipment is in service, or until you ask us to remove it.
Analytics data: retained in aggregate or de-identified form.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, authentication on the systems that hold customer data, and encryption of data in transit to the Site.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us over the internet at your own risk.
11. Your rights
Subject to limited exceptions in law, you have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you and be told how it has been used and to whom it has been disclosed
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Withdraw consent to our use of your information, as described in Section 5
Unsubscribe from commercial email at any time
Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request. There is normally no charge; if a request requires significant effort we will tell you the cost in advance and give you the option to withdraw or modify the request.

13. United States visitors
If you access the Site from the United States, the sections above describe the information we collect and how we use it. In addition:
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
Text messages to U.S. numbers. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages to a United States mobile number without the recipient’s prior express written consent, and we maintain a do-not-contact list for numbers that have opted out. To opt out, reply STOP to any message from us or contact us using the details in Section 12.
Residents of California and of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have the right to request access to the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about them, request correction or deletion of that information, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will verify your identity before responding and will not treat you differently for making a request.
14. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites, including manufacturer sites, supplier catalogues, and technical documents. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review the privacy policy of any third-party site before providing personal information to it.
15. Children
The Site is intended for business use. It is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices, our technology, or the law. The current version is always posted on this page with the effective date at the top. Material changes will be identified clearly. Continuing to use the Site after a change is posted means you accept the updated policy.
