The SlurryPro Horizontal built-up is supplied as a complete package, with the horizontal slurry pump, motor, and drive mounted and aligned on a single baseframe. Instead of sourcing, mounting, and aligning the motor separately, you receive a matched assembly that arrives ready for installation.
A self-tightening motor base can also be included. It automatically takes up slack and maintains the correct belt tension, helping prevent belt slip and heat built-up, reduce energy losses, and extend belt life—with far less need for manual retensioning.
Each build-up is supplied on a static base as standard, with the option to upgrade to a sliding base. First recognised at the 2018 MPA Awards, the sliding base has since been improved with a hydraulic ram. It can now be fitted to larger pumps, allowing one person to open and close the pump more safely for inspection and maintenance.
By reducing the need for lifting equipment and manual handling, the sliding base can cut servicing time and cost. The hydraulic ram is also movable, so one ram can be used across multiple compatible SlurryPro sliding bases instead of purchasing one for every pump.
